The organisation of football in Bermuda is structured around a hierarchical league system, allowing clubs to ascend or descend based on their performances. This structure is divided into two main tiers.
At the top of the hierarchy is the Bermuda Premier Division, which is the highest level of football in Bermuda. It comprises 10 clubs that compete for the title of Bermuda champion. The bottom two clubs in the standings at the end of the season are relegated to the Bermuda First Division.
The Bermuda First Division, the second tier of football in Bermuda, also hosts 10 clubs. The top two teams are promoted to the Bermuda Premier Division at the end of each season.
In addition to these two tiers, there are also cup competitions, such as the Bermuda FA Cup, which are open to all clubs from both divisions. These competitions provide clubs with the opportunity to compete against teams of different levels and add trophies to their honours list.
