Organisation of Football in Uzbekistan

The organisation of football in Uzbekistan is structured across several levels, allowing clubs to ascend or descend based on their performance. This structure spans from professional football to amateur football.

At the pinnacle of the hierarchy is the Super League, which represents the highest level of Uzbek football. It comprises 14 professional clubs vying for the title of Uzbekistan champion. The bottom two clubs in the ranking at the end of the season are relegated to the Pro League, which also includes 16 clubs. The top two teams from the Pro League are promoted to the Super League, while the bottom three are relegated to the Pro-B League.

The Pro-B League, the third tier of Uzbek football, hosts 16 clubs, primarily semi-professional. The top two teams are promoted to the Pro League, and the bottom four are relegated to the Pro-C League. This level is divided into two groups of 10 clubs each, operating on the same promotion and relegation principle with the Pro-B League and the Pro-D League.

The Pro-D League, the fifth tier of Uzbek football, is organised into several regional groups. It includes amateur clubs as well as reserve teams from professional clubs. Beyond the Pro-D League, the system continues with regional and departmental divisions, highlighting the depth and richness of Uzbek football at all levels of competition.

Levels 6 to 8 are made up of the Regional 1, Regional 2 and Regional 3, which are organised by regional leagues. Levels 9 to 11 are made up of the Departmental 1, Departmental 2 and Departmental 3, which are organised by departmental districts. Finally, levels 12 to 15 are made up of the Departmental 4, Departmental 5, Departmental 6 and Departmental 7, which are also organised by departmental districts.
