Organisation of Football in Grenada

The organisation of football in Grenada is structured around a hierarchical league system, allowing clubs to ascend or descend based on their performances. This structure is divided into several tiers, ranging from professional football to amateur football.

At the top of the hierarchy is the Grenada Premier Division, which is the highest level of football in Grenada. It brings together the country's top clubs who compete for the title of Grenada's champion. The poorly ranked clubs at the end of the season are relegated to the Grenada First Division, the second tier of football in Grenada.

The Grenada First Division is the second rung of football in Grenada. The high-performing clubs in this division have the opportunity to ascend to the Grenada Premier Division, while the poorly ranked clubs may be relegated to a lower level.

Below the Grenada First Division, there are other levels of competition, organised at regional and local levels. These leagues provide amateur and semi-professional clubs with the opportunity to participate in organised competitions and progress within Grenada's league system.

In addition to football leagues, Grenada also has a national team that participates in various international competitions, including the Caribbean Cup and the CONCACAF Nations League.
